I have a 68 Ford 2000 158 gas. Is there supposed to be any springs on carb. When governor kicks in the rpms go up and down 2-3 times before engine smoothes back out. I believe the linkage to be installed correctly as in my IT manual. There was a spring on there when i tore the engine down but it appeared to be a rig job. When manually throttle up and down rpms go up and down smooth. Holley carb still not doing the greatest after rebuild but can live with it for a while.
