carburetor for Ford 3000

The original subject was "carburetor for Ford 3000".

I have the exact number on my 2000 Ford. I ordered a kit to see if it would work. The gasket under the cover over the accelerator pump on my carbuetor has a diaphram. The new kit has a hole through it the size of the pump bore. Does anyone know which one is right. I love the remarks that suggest to make sure the new one matches the old one or even better "re install in the same order as was removed", when you don't know who did what last. I didn't look at the date. This may be an old entry.

Greg, thanks, the picture helps. Item 20 in my carburetor has a diaphragm gasket instead of the large hole. The kit I ordered didn't fit, the float valve was wrong and the accelerator pump was too large to enter the bore also.
