carburetor

Hi Guys.
Farmall H tractor, I had to clean and replace the jets in my carburetor, took it off a second time because I had the float set too high, now the tractor runs but I have little throttle response, it idles to about half the normal throttle revs any suggestions please.

Probably didn't get the governor control in the proper notch when you put the carb back on. (My $0.02 worth.jal-SD)

Governor is probably out of adjustment.

Getting them back in the Gov. hook up can be a pain and if it is not right it will do just as your saying it is doing Time to make sure it is in the correct place where it hook up to the gov linkage

Whenever u have no carb float measurements,.... u turn the top half upside down and eyeball the float. Set it level. That?s as good as u will get it without measure tab. Tractor won?t know the diff. Either. Then make sure you get the tab in it?s slot for the throttle plate.
