Will the head off of a Massey Harris 55 work on my 1000 Crawler? They look the same with a few minor differances. Just want to make sure before I put it on the crawler.
 
Yes,it will fit and should work(the injection part may?have to be tweaked some).Some things I can't find for my 555,I can get for the Case version and will work fine with little or no work.I'am speaking Diesel,not gas(didn't think the 1000 was made in gas)if gas tnen heads should be same.Hope this helps.
