Case 1070 AC pump conversion

I want to convert the ac system on the 1070 from the piston pump to rotary. Is there an equivalent I can use from a car or pickup or do I have to pay extra for the special pump? Thanks

MC, A quick look at the 4690-94 series shows the Sanden and mounting brackets for it so it should fit any Case big block, possibly a donor unit can be located, if you get lucky maybe the hosing can be found that is compatible with that pump, that would be a nice upgrade. From my experience for patrs like that I would start with All States Ag, They recycle tractor parts, have several outlets in the Midwest and I have found them knowledgeable and easy to work with.
