Case 1170 hydraulic specs?

Without diving too deep, I am wanting to possibly run a hydraulic motor off a remote on the tractor. It would probably run at the maximum output at about an 80% duty cycle for a couple hours. I am not sure if the tractor is really intended to handle that sort of hydraulic demand?

All I have right now is that the pump output is 16gpm. I don't know at what pressure?

I have not checked yet, but does the tractor have a proper hydraulic system cooler? I don't think this would be a wise approach without one so hoping it does.

1170 does have a hyd. cooler. I would plumb the return into the transmission case below the oil level to help keep the heat down from going
thru the coupler. Keeping the return below oil level keeps foaming down.

Thanks. Any word on design pressure in these?

Also, there is a 5th hydro port I believe to be for a direct drain? However, I will need to reverse the motor so not sure it would be practical to plumb one side to drain.

I could possibly install a temp gauge. But if memory serves, I think there is one in the dash? I am hoping I won't have to push it to the max. I can slow things down a touch.

Yeah, if you have to reverse a case drain won't work. I have put a pressure gauge dead headed in a remote coupler and got 2100# pressure.
1170 does have a hyd. temp gauge in the instrument panel.

I checked routing on that 5th hydro port and oddly, it goes to the valve block for the loader? I've never used it, so sort of a mystery.

Basically I am building a water well rig. Hydro motor for the drive, other remote for hydraulic lift, setup will mount on the 3pt and probably have to put some weight on it. This won't have a double acting lift cylinder so downforce will be the weight of the assembly.

For water, I want to run a PTO pump. In all ways, using everything that tractor has....lol
