My old Case 1200 has a fill cap directly under the steering wheel in the cab floor that is on top of the transmission.

It also has a hydraulic reservoir with cap/dipstick just outside the right cab door - under a plate in the cab floor.

Is there a separate dipstick for the transmission? Or is the transmission just part of the hydraulic oil system and share a common oil system?

Thanks

the 1200 has a separate hyd and transmission system , some have a separate power steering system as well. 6 speeds take 30 quarts, level plug on the side of the transmission, 8 speed version holds 5 gallon also level plug on the side both use quality trans/hyd oil
