Case 1290 injectors

You can buy just the nozzle for them from this site and rebuild them ($43/piece), but you need an injector tester to set the cracking pressure. Maybe you could change out the nozzle and then take it to a dealer to have them set the pressure. I think most dealers would have a tester. I did ours this spring and it wasn't hard at all, didn’t really need the book for it.
 
My local diesel shop sells remans that they do in house for $41 plus your cores. Good people, don't mind talking to you, giving info, check your injectors for free, and immediately when you walk in.
