Case 1370 issues

I am looking at a case 1370 1977 agri king tractor. It looks well taken care of, but not yet seen it in person. What are some things to look for with these tractors? It has roughly 4300 hours. Never owned a case before, so kinda want some direction on it. Thanks.

Look for the 1570 upgrade in the rear end. That is the only problem we have ever had.

if you can take it out and drive it.when you step down on the clucth it should make a burping noise. then you should be able to put it in gear. drive it down the road shifting the power shift up at around 1500rpms. should snap into the next gear same way downshifting.the transmissions and powershifts are pretty reliable.park it on a hill and put the transmission in park it should slide right in and out easy.make sure to use only case hytran oil in the transmission and hydralics.with only that many hours the steering and motor should be pretty tight yet.just my thoughts.good luck
