Rod told you what you are likely facing in your previous post. Sounds like you better get out your wrenches and jacks and tear into the powershift.

Good job getting it split. If you have the factory service manual it will show you the step by step procedure on teardown , inspection and reassembly. There can be a couple things that are a little tricky for reassembly so the book or someone with that has done a few would be a huge plus. I think you will find the main problem in C-3 but now is the time to check everything. Rod.

After a second look at your pics it appears to be some discoloring of the rear of the drum gear. Which would indicate slippage occurring in C-3, Rod.

These were pics of my 1370 I rebuilt last year Rod but you have pretty darn good eyes to see that it was discolored and the bolts were broken in the C3 clutch and the bearing cage was out of the carrier sorry for the confusion i was just showing how to split tractor

After I replied I thought that might be what happened. When you got a new ball brgs for that shaft did they tell you there was heavy duty ones available as replacements? Rod.

No they never said that there was heavy bearings for that. The new ones were the same part number on the bearings as the old ones. Has there been many issues with this happening? I figured since the bolts had broken and only 1 was still attached had threw it off balance to break the bearing cage and I had to replace the carrier as well because of the deep groove wore in where the sealing rings ride.

Those brgs were not a big problem, but like what happened to you the darn things going bad would wreck the housing. Whenever I am doing a PS repair I replace those brgs just for good measure. Rod.
