Case 1840 Skid Steer (Steering)

I have a 1840 Case Skid Steer and I noticed over time the steering on the right side is weak, when running it I do 90% of the steering with the left joy stick.
I am hoping there is some adjustment or easy repair because I can't afford it to be down right now for a major repair.
Thanks Jay

So inside the main pump they have two sides. A right pump and left pump. They are essentially identical and each have a brass wear plate/surface. One of those plates is most likely worn or scratched. It will only get more weak the more you use it. There is no adjustment to be made.

Is the drive weak as far as pushing is concerned when working the machine? if it has good power, possibly the lever stops are not adjusted properly, the set bolts on the panel at the base of the lever where it goes down through the slot are to set the lever travel and are used to set the tracking on the machine. If internal wear is the issue that will need to be dealt with but if simply slower on one side that should be able to be corrected, screw the stop bolt out on the slow side and see if the lever travel is increased and that side speeds up, if not, screw the other side in to limit the lever travel to slow the fast side down.

BTW, I have repaired many internal damaged ones to like new condition by using 400 grit Emery cloth and wetting the paper with oil and working the commutator plate damage off by using a figure 8 pattern, brass shoes on the pistons are easily resurfaced as well as the piston block where it meets the commutator plate. Those parts are extremely expensive and most times are able to be saved.

Im looking for a parts manual for case 1737 or 1740 uni loader case. Or some parking brake information. Thank you any direction on this would be great

I've got a 1740. The bucket is the parking brake Lol!
Originally I think they had an over center parking brake lever that operated cables to both drums. Mine were all cut off.....just
parts of the cables remain.
I do have parts book, but not sure you could still find new parts. You could probably rig something for a parking brake with parts
from a rear wheel drive drum brake car or truck.
