Case 188D oil pan

Hey everyone, so after discussing options with Seali. About the torque tube leaking into crankcase. He suggested doing the oil pan gaskets, as that's a place the 2 oils can potentially meet. So far everything is going great im just stuck as can be on reassemble. Im down to the last piece where the front axle will bolt to and pivot off of. I cannot for the life of me get it so the lower 5/8 bolts will go into their holes.

It appears that the hole bracket is about the thickness of a gasket away from being lined up. Do I need the #2 gasket in the picture. I feel like its essential but I cant get it to budge.

Ive tried using a bottle jack to ensure its all the way up and it starts to lift the tractor and doesnt gain me anything.

Also going through the manual im missing so many pages for my tractor alone. It seems like ill need to purchase another one.

I googled "1966 case 530ck oil pan installation" & it mentions this:

Cast-Pan Caution: If you have the heavy-duty cast iron oil pan, you may need to grind a small 45° chamfer on the edge of the oil pump to ensure it clears the pan.
