Case 2090 heating

Thank you for reading my post. Our
Case is running, what I think a little
Warm. I put on an old fashioned water
Temp guage. Pulling a disc, and in
95 degree temps, she wants to do
195 or better.
Looked at thermostats and one didn't
Look right, so put them in...it
Helped, just took longer to get
There. I'm wondering if doing a
Flush would turn things around.
I have noticed the rear end is
Warm, and the corresponding cooler
In front of the radiator.
Have had her for a couple years
Now and never changed the filters
In the rear end...since I can't
Find the book, don't really know
How or where
Would appreciate ideas or suggestions.

Make sure engine radiator, transmission cooler and air conditioner condenser are clean - blow out with air or flush fins with water. Here's the procedure to change the hydraulic filters from the owners' manual. Case TFD oil is no longer available, use Case IH Hytran oil.

my 3394 has been running warmer than normal so i put new foam around the radiator. this helped quite a bit . what is happining is the hot air comeing off the radiator is circleing around and going back in to the front instead of going straight back

195 degrees is not running hot yet, there is nothing wrong with that for a normal operating temp. The CASE supplied stats are not fully open until 202 if memory serves me correctly. It is undesirable to have a cool running engine, less that 180 for most modern day engines. If a engine wants to boil out coolant, then it is to hot. It is a good idea to carefully wash and blow out the cooler and radiator to make sure they are performing as they should. Rod.
