Case 2090

Looking hard into buying a 2090 next week. Only thing that scares me is the PTO does not work. The owner said it messed up once before and
that it was a pin inside that broke and now it has done it again and he is not going to fix it this time. PTO will not turn on at all. How hard is this
and is it pretty costly? Dad has done several 70 series, but never a 90 series. Thanks.

If you can do a 70 Series PTO you should be able to fix one on the 90 series.

with the tractor not running grab the pto shaft and turn if it spins realy easy like not turning any gears it probably is between 540 and 1000,the pins in the shift gear either fell out or broke,2 pins 25 each seal 50 maybe shift gear 280,and time.as said if you can fix a 70 you can get it.
