It's great to finally get some information on this tractor. I've owned a 210B for about 9 years now and never knew that much about it.
We still use our as our main work horse on timber property in Fort Deposit, Alabama (about 30 miles south of Montgomery of I65.) my family owns. We use it to prepare food plots for hunting season and for bush hogging.
The tractor is in good mechanical condition, but is begining to really show its (tractor) age. Repair costs are rising and parts are harder to find. Currently, we are having problems with the hydrolic system. The systems are that it just picks up slow. We've had it in the shop, and our guy said he has done the best he can with repairing it.
Any info replacing the hydrolic system on these tractors would be great!!
Also, we have had to purchase a remanufactured carb and now we cannot seem to get it tuned properly. I don't have a part number for it, but will grab that when I'm down there this weekend.
Any info on replacement carbs for this tractor would be greatly beneficial!!
Once again, I'm glad to know that others are out there and there seems to be enough parts to restore these machines. We have been really pleased with how this tractor has ran. Until recently, it rarely gave us any problems and our mechanic (a die-hard Farmall guy) has sworn it is one the best running tractors he has ever worked on.
Let's keep the info rolling! Any other websites for digging up parts, specs, & history would be greatly appreciated!
BTW..If I post my serial number and some picks, would someone be able to accuretly tell me if this is a 1958 or 1959? Thanks - Jason
