Case 210B Question

Have a 1958 Case 210B Standard. I know there wasn't many made of the little Standards. Anyone know anything about them? This one runs, but the clutch is stuck to the flywheel.

I am wanting to possibly put this engine into a 1960 430 that also has some odd options, but if the 200 is one that is highly collectible I probably shouldn't part it out. Any thoughts?

I believe the bell housing is smaller and the starter is not interchangeable as the 210 has a 2 bolt starter and all 30 series had a 3 bolt.

A 210B Standard is somewhat rare. Start spraying the clutch assembly w/ penetrant through the inspection hole.

Just another side note is the clutch has been stuck for probably 10-15 years. I don't know if that makes it better or worse, but passing that information along. Bob

Tractor has 1959 model grill cap & splined hub steering wheel. Does it have a serial nr tag? Joe

If you keep the engine, I would be interested in the rest of the tractor. Would fit with a couple loader tractors I have...605.881.3042.

It probably is a 59 Joe. I didnt lok at the tag, just that the radiator inlet was below the hood. On the larger tractors, the 58's rad cap is below the hood and on the 59's the cap is above the hood. Prolly a 59, but it does have a tag I will check. Bob

The 1958 grill cap has a small square door over the radiator cap. The 1959 has a taller radiator than 1958 with the neck & overflow tube in near round hole in the grill cap with the radiator cap just above flush, no cover.

The 1959 has a steering wheel with splined hub that mates to the spline shaft. The 1958 steering wheel has 3 equal spokes. The hub has a keyway to match woodruff key in the shaft.

There are a few other changes by sn like the hydraulic pump & engagement linkage.

Serial nr break between 1958 & 1959 is 6120001.

That's not a Farmall. It looks like a DC or SC Case...

The G148 engine in the 430 was fairly popular and was sleaved so it can be easily rebuilt, unless a chunk came out of the block. And the 148 should be fairly easy to find. On the other hand, the 210B is a rare tractor, has a smaller engine, and parts for that engine are tougher to come by. I would stick with a 148 for the 430.

If you're gunna part it out, Id like to know. There are some parts Id like to have like the eagle hitch and hydraulic system.
Seems like a waste to part out a loaded tractor like that just because of a stuck clutch. That should be an easy fix. Where are you located?
