The original subject was "Case 210B with Loader".

Need some advice. . Heard Rich is retired, have the 210 B with PTO delete, got a PTO from a 300 series, pulled the rear plate, looked like the trans shaft had a frost plug on it to block a PTO installation.. Can this work??

I've a 310B backhoe/loader and have certainly thought about that deal. Sales literature for the backhoe offers the pto as an option, so you'd think you wouldn't have an entirely different back half. It's time to dig into the parts book I guess and start comparing part numbers...........

I don"t know about the 200B but the 300/300B w/o PTO has an expansion plug installed where that shaft seal is in the 1st pic. That is to keep the torque tube hyd oil from running into the transmission.

The 2nd pic is the PTO installed with a shaft seal where the expansion plug was. If it is the same as the 300"s you will need 2 single lip seals mounted back to back in lieu of the original obsolete double lipped seal.
