Could anyone help me with getting information on the make of the carburetor Im having a issue with the float overflowing the carburetor

Don't know the carb, but maybe a hole in the float. If so maybe could be brazed?

Some small piece could have entered the fuel line and traveled as as far as the needle seat and be holding it open. You may have to take it apart for a looksee and be careful separating the two halves and you won't need parts if it's something simple, remove the load screw first when disassembling.

IF the tractor still has the factory TSX635 it will look like this. The other stamped nr is the date built, this one being Feb 1956.

The TSX635 is a small bowl carb. what you need for just flooding is a basic kit which will include a new gas inlet needle and seat. Some needle & seat include a clip to supposedly stabilize the needle, use it or not. Floats get banged up from backfire and other malfunctions, if so buy a new one. If float looks good shake it o check for trapped gas. You can try to check it for cracks by putting it in a freezer for several hours take it out and submerge it in hot water. Look for tiny air bubbles along the float seams. If in doubt buy a new one. This pic is how to set floats, both floats same height and parallel with carb top. Make sure on assembly the floats freely move up & down w/o any contact with the carb body that can cause them to hang up and fail to seat the inlet needle.

Very easy carb to rebuild. When I find one with a leak in one or both of the floats, I place it on an electric coffee cup warmer overnight. The next morning any gas or water has evaporated. Then place under
water look for air bubbles. I use a VERY small amount of JB weld to seal holes. I always shut gas off and drain the carb after each use. So not too worried about JB Weld failing.
