Case 2290 wont reverse

Looking at a Case 2290. They say the tractor wont reverse but shifts ok in all other gears. Wondering if anyone had had similar issues and how bad it could be. Thanks in advance!
 
Need more information. Does won't reverse mean the lever will not go back to reverse or that it won't move when shifted to reverse? I use classic view and my email is open.
