when it gets on a inclin e starts to sputter cut out loses power cleaned carb reset everything put new filter on still does dont know why thanks mike

Mike; have you checked the float height?
Also have you checked the float with it removed from the carb body to see if gas has filled into the float bodys
If height is high(less fuel in bowl causes lean burn no power)
If float is low or is sinking(more fuel in bowl will cause fuel to be picked up buy the highspeed vent tube when on a incline this is a over rich
condtion or flooding
was there no smoke or lots of black before power loss

Did you drain the wayer trap on the fuel tank? Also is your electric fuel pump working or even still on there without the pump you could run out of gas on a incline.
