Case 3230 hyd problems mEL?, anyone?

Case 3230, single remote system, remote stops working after aprox 1 hr. hyds get very hot. It has probably around 5000 plus hrs on it. The poor guy has been working on it for 2yrs, had 4 different mechanics look at it, i"m #5. They have replaced the hyd pump, cleaned and flushed the cooler, replaced the filter twice, new fluid, new relief valve, I pulled the bypass valve, it looked fine. I dont have a book on it so I"m asking the experts. The local Case Const dealer looked at it too, they dont have books for it either. PS- Happy 4th!

Goin out on a limb on this but the MCV valve controls flow to the systems, I would guess ( and thats all it is) that there is a massive leak in one of the systems that is allowing all the flow to get away and the MCV is trying to satisfy the needs of the leaky system and taking oil from the remote circuits to do that. Maybe a flow test would give some insight. The HI LO if so equipped has a regulator valve with gaskets and feed tubes with oring seals.

Generally, excess oil from the pump that is not being used goes through the cooler and if there is a lot of oil getting away that will cause the overheating, all symptoms point to that somewhere on the tractor
