I am doing a full restore on a case 350 1957 model. I dont know much about them. I have plans on going to my local case dealer and getting the right paint for the job. I am looking for some way of knowing exactly how the tractor should be painted, as far as specific details. I want it to look like it came from the factory. Are their paint or restoring detail charts for old tractors.

Desert Sunset for the yellow and Flambeau Red are the two colors you need plus a silver or aluminum for your rims. I have a piece of literature I use to get all the pieces painted the right colors but the 300 series is usually self-evident. you can reach me@ 6076423293 if you need any help. Fred

If you ever need information on the 300 series contact Roger S. Hornbaker. He restores the 300 model, sells reproduction parts and fixes gauge clusters. Plus he is a really nice fellow. He fixed my gauge cluster for my 830, and did an execelent job. [email protected] 301-223-9005

My local NAPA guy told me he could mix his Martin Senor paint to Case specs if I could provide DuPont or Ditzler paint codes. I have a Case history book that gives these codes at home. I will try to post them tonight or I believe they are in the list on the left hand menu bar of the YT home page. The names of the colors you are looking for are Desert Sunset and Flambeau Red.

Here are PPG's paint codes for Case tractors. Hal

Desert Sunset--81357
Flambeau Red---70138
71282
3116
PS: There's 3 codes for the Red.
