Case 380B Tractor Any Good?

I am looking at a 380B Case Tractor for a family member but I can t find much info on them as far as if they are good reliable tractors and what all Problems to look for besides the basic condition of the tractor. We have narrowed it down to a 3600 Ford with a loader or this 380B Case with loader. It will be just a basic chore tractor on a 50 acre hobby farm. If anyone has had any experience with the 380B Case tractors please let me know. Thanks

I have lots of time with a Case 380 (David Brown industrial 885) a 380B is 100% a IH made in England,, nothing to do with a Case other than a carry over unit from the ih Purchase,, I have worked on a number of the IH versions I do not care for them much personally,, a pain to get off and on,, and the control layout is a joke for me,, I found a good friend one for a yard/chore tractor,, he used it three maybe four years,, it has been parked now for three years and will be on the next ritchie brothers auction as he and his hands are not fond of it at all,, Bro loren said they soald them and liked them when new so maybe I just have got a bad taste for them as I have not ran them other than in and out of my shop when repairing them,, I would suggest you ask to drive it around and see if its a fit for you,, some of the parts you cant get from cih for them but have to go through a Dresser dealer who later bought that part of the ih line ,
