Case 380LL w/Loader

Can anyone tell me about a Case 380LL? I have found one foe sale for $4800.00 I think it's high for the sahpe it's in. Is there any difference between a 380LL and 380CK or David Brown 885?

Thanks,
David

Several times have tried responding to this one on here. For some reason the stupid YT deal doesn't accept common language about Case David Brown kicking it OUT !! ??? No foul language but fixing to be Kim and Chris what kind of stupid filters you got on here anyway?

David,
We had a Case 380 LL with just the loader and got rid of it in 2004 for about $7000 and the engine had been rebuilt 3 years before that. Same David Brown 3 cylinder, 164 engine as David Brown 885. Construction industrial version of a David Brown 885. There were several changes on the Case 380 LL or CK it was made 1974-1980. Sold new for $7800 to $9800 depending on options. Ours had trans drive PTO and the clutch shuttle shift trans with 3 point on back. LL stood for Loader Landscaper and most of those had 3 point hitch on back as ours did but could be fitted with a backhoe too. The CK stood for Construction King and those were setup with backhoe on back. I had heard David Brown built the tractor for Case and then they built the loaders and backhoes for them over here. Good little chore tractors for small farm or livestock operation but not quite big enough for most day to day construction work. When we had ours Case IH ag dealers only could not sell us parts for it we had to go through a construction equipment dealer or combo dealer. Early ones had air cleaner on top of engine sticking up through the hood and you could still get filters for those through Case IH or CNH. Ours was 1979 model had air filter cannister behind the front grill over the battery. Case IH ag or construction dealers and aftermarket could not get us the original dry air filters for it any longer saying bad numbers or obsolete. We had got filters for it several times before that. That was a nightmare and finally had to just modify the cannister for filters from a MF 135 tractor to fit as could get those easily most anywhere. Email me if you have more questions about it.

I have a case 380CK it has the 3 point hitch on the back and the loader on the front, and it has the 8 speed manual transmission. It is a great little tractor. we use it daily around the farm for chore work, and we pull hay trailers with it. Its great for clean up and general work. it uses little fuel and has had no problems. As far as the price I dont think that is too bad if it is in good running shape. Here's a pic of it gettin a bath.
