Case 400 offset Air Intake pipe adaptor

Hello all,

I purchased an air intake pipe for my Case 411.

The pipe I purchased doesn't have the offset I need

(The offset is on the big pipe)

The picture is of a 211 but it shows the pipe offset.

My question is this.. How/where can I get the pipe with the offset?

Take the straight pipe to your local muffler shop and he will make you an offset pipe. It is not rocket science. CM

Can you tell me more about why it can be tricky?

You need to measure the offset very carefully to get it right the first time. And how tight or how rounded can the curves be? Any chance you could borrow the offset piece from a different tractor to take as a sample to the pipe bending shop?

I do have a tendency to overthink things

You can draw on a piece of cardboard the exact size and shape of what is needed to act as a template for the bender guy. Takes the guess work out of it.
