Case 444

Can any of you tell me alittle about this tractor. Its been sitting in my back yard for 15 years. My granddad used it for everything and before his death he said make sure you put oil in before you start her up. Im very enterested in getting it off my back pourch. The serial #9738936 and model #44477. I cant seem to find anything with the 444 on it. Thats whats stamped on the side and back fender. Thanks for your help if you can, I no its preety old by the looks of it (but how old) is the question

It is a 1977 model year tractor. It is a very tough little tractor. I mow about an acre a week with my 1976 "444". You will not see any of the cheaper brands around this long.
