We have a case 450 dozer that started leaking fluid from behind the flywheel, so we dropped the TQ and rebuilt it. All new seals and bushings front ot back on it. We reinstalled it this weekend and fired the dozer back up and it leaked just as bad as before.
My question is, is there a trick to reinstalling the TQ? Could we have done something to mess a seal up? The flex plate was kind of a buger to get bolted up, could we have damaged a seal messing with the flex plate. Also could there be something cracked inside the TQ that would cause it to leak from the front end of the TQ? This is not a small leak I would say it will leak a gallon out in 15 to 20 minutes.
Thanks in advance for the help.
