Case 450 loader

The seal at the torque converter started leaking really bad. My book shows the seal but not how to get it out. It is flush with the converter housing and the shaft that connects to the drive shaft sticks out for the yoke on the drive shaft. I called Case in Tyler, Tx to see what I had to do to get it out and they say remove the drive shaft and use a screwdriver or some other type of punch to get it out. My question is won"t that just drive it into the converter housing? What would be the proper way to get it out? Need help quick, I"m losing a lot of hydraulic fluid from
it. Anyone help?

The only experience I have had is that I pulled mine 4 times and repalced it five times but I have a Case 450B it might be different than a 450 You might drill a hole in the seal and screw in a sheet metal screw and use a slid hammer and pull it out might take two holes one on each side. Cave it in to the shaft then pry it out. Think of different ways to do it and try one
