CASE 450B PUMP

I needing to rebuild the hydraulic pump on a Case 450B dozer. Is
this a big undertaking? Or is it something the shade tree mechanic
can do? I cant find any info on how to do it.

sounds like the drive is worn and slipping, if this is the case best bet is to replace it and the drive cnt

I assume you're talking about an aluminum Cessna gear pump up front? They are not rebuildable. They are basically "throw-away" pumps. You can get new for $250-$300 if you shop around. Very common pump used by Deere, Ford, IH, Oliver, etc.
Probably a generic SAE two-bolt mount with a 7/8" X 23 spline shaft.
