case 450C

Next week a case 450C is at auction with 5400 hours. Says good undercarriage, 6 way blade, has ROPS. I wish to bid on it but dont know much about those case crawlers. Any help will be appreciated as to price, what to look for , etc. Thanks Bill

Pay someone, that knows what to look for, to go over the machine. The "good" undercarraige may need big dollars in the near future!

Awesome machines man. Tough as nails. Have someone inspect the undercarriage for you if you dont know what to look for. An aftermarket undecarriage starts at $3500.00 and can get as high as 10 grand.

these are decent machines have someone if possable who knows machinery to cheack it out, if not run your own judgement, if they start it watch to see if they need starter fluid,if they deminstrate with it (dig) listen to the engine for the power at the load its moving,450 are smaller if it is in decent shape price range is what is affordable to you and for your project go to tractorhouse website it should have comparable dozers,it would give you rough idea on price.
