My 1973 manual clutch shuttle shift won't go into reverse. Works in forward ok. This an 8 speed unit.
I'm hoping some one will point me in the correct direction as where the reverse idler gear is? Can it be accessed through the
big cover over the front area and the bolt that holds the shaft for the gear through the throw out bearing grease door? I have a
parts manual and it shows the gear and shaft it is on. but I'm having mental problem seeing exactly what I need to open up to fix
reverse.
