Hello all, me again with yet another question. Is there a different oil filter setup than what came from the factory? I have had trouble off and on with both the cork gasket and rubber seal leaking upon filter replacement. I've tried several brands of oil filters and all can fail. The filter is a "Mason Jar" style.

Polish the mating surface on the housing and oil the rubber gasket. Don't over tighten.
