A Case 530 Diesel Industrial tractor would have a 188 engine, right?

Dear Chuck, I doubt that Jerome Increase Case ever put out any literature stating an engines cubic inch displacement in metric terms. (maybe in overseas sales)
When I was growing up in the 50's 60's and 70's here in the good old US of A. Most vehicles were known for their engine size, 1955 Chevrolet finally learned how
to cast the 265 cubic inch V-8. Later came the 283, 327, 350 409 454, there was a short run of a 348 wedge fire, a lemon for the bow tie people. I'm sure I
missed some. Ford numbers I'm not much good at 289 292 352 the 289 was a hot one, the 292 was used in pick-ups. Mopar, 318, 383 are numbers that jump out of my
old mind. But I just wanted to remind you cubic inches mattered in the war betwenn the tractor producers of the time more cubes usually equaled more horsepower
and it was never referred to as 2,3 liter or 3.2 liter. Just had to rattle your chain, get on your case. give you a load of c_ap about the famous 188 J.I. Case
