I have a case 530 CK with the loader and backhoe, not sure what year it is, I thought it was a 1978 and Im trying to figure out all the filters I need and manuals to buy. I just bought it. Everything works as it should. I just need some help finding the right manuals.

My thought is it needs to be identified closer to get the right manuals. Serial number lists I find indicate the 530 series ended production about 1969. Is your serial number tag missing? I think it should have been on the right side of the cowl, about in line with the loader upright.

In your picture it looks like the loader and backhoe tags are still in place, hopefully the tractor one is as well.
 
Thank you for your reply, I'm finding the same info about production ending in 69 for
the CK 530. I found manuals online and printed some of them. Going to lookup the serial
numbers this week. One of the injectors is leaking (very little) and getting the engine
wet, gotta fix that. I did change oil and filter today. Air filter, hydraulic filter,
radiator flush this week.
 

I don't know of lists to date the loader or hoe serial numbers, you need the tractor serial number.

Also check the lower right side of the engine, there could be a tag for the engine there.
 
They only made those 2 years, 64 and 65. Before that they were just 530 and in 66 the 580 came out. The ag tractor 530 went til 69.
 
I worked for the Township Road Commissioner two summers, early 1970's like about '73 & '74. I spent a lot of time on a Case 530 CK tractor/loader/backhoe. The 580's didn't come out till '75 or'76. In '74 I did ALL the sanding & chipping of oiled roads so loaded 100+ tons of sand or chips a day with the loader. I had a brand new '74 C65 Chevy dumptruck to play with. We used to get our cold patch mix from 15-18 miles away but that yard stopped making it, then for a week or two I cruised 35 miles of mostly Interstate to get 16,000-17,000# of patch, Then the Boss comes in one Monday morning and tells me The blacktop company about 13 miles away makes cold patch. I could be in town, get weighed and loaded and back out on our roads ready to patch in less than a half hour. But when we oiled the '67 C65 was under the spreader box, and 6 BIG buckets filled the spreader box heaping full, enough for almost a mile of road, I weighed one load, between 21,000 and 22,000#.
That second year we also traded the Austin Western Super 300 for a brand new Austin Western grader, 4-71 Detroit instead of a 4-53 in the old grader, 8 speed full power shift fwd & Rev. All the options except a ripper, but the cost of road oil increased so drastically we patched more and didn't tear up and rebuild roads anymore. Couple years later they got a C70 tandem rear axle dumptruck, I saw it but never drove it. SUMMER of '75 I hauled concrete readymix in a '74 Duamond Reo with only 1000 miles on the clock. .
 
Those online books from case are frequently wrong. The early 530 was not called a CK at the time. And they quit making the 530ck in 65. That does not mean they didn't sell them in 66, but the 580ck came out in 66. And the 530ck has different steering and loader than the earlier 530 models. So if he needs loader or steering parts he needs to match his serial number. His particular model of 530ck was only made in 64 and 65.
 
For engine parts this is correct, but
there were several changes along the way
for construction equipment. So a proper
date is necessary for many parts.
