CASE 580 CK BACKHOE

Hello, my neighbor was nice enough to let me use his Case 580 CK backhoe that he bought at least 10 years ago to dig a footer for a add on to his house and hasn't used it since. So 10 years later here I am using it and popping Hydraulic hoses and just about everything else you can think of that 10 years of not using it that is dried up frozen just needs a Little TLC. I'd like to buy a manual for it but not sure the year or real certain of the model. On the loader it says 580 CK but on the lower frame part of the loader I found a metal tag that says model 33 then maybe serial#41670099. I also found 2 more tags one close to the backhoe controls model 33 then s/n 4160429 the last one is on the engine Model G188D s/n 2657162. It is diesel and shuttle shift. I'd like to buy a a operators manual or service manual. Just want to be sure to buy the correct manual the first time. So is a Case 580 Ck close enough or do I need more info? Thanks for your time and help....Scotty

The serial tag for the tractor unit would be on the RH side of the dash lower tin if its still there, the 33 is just the loader and backhoe attachments, the 580CK was made 1966 through 1971, there re few changes in appearance but there is two shuttle brands that were used, you say you have shuttle shift,, there is a mechanical shuttle and a power shuttle, when I ordered te ops for my 580CK I could not get the plain 580CK book for some reason so I ordered a 580B ops, all is the same other than tin work and a dry air cleaner, check with this site and see if they offer them first, I did see a reprint on flea bay, I would rather have a Case reprint myself but that's me lol

Thanks a lot for your help. Like you said the serial number plate is gone. She pretty old but runs like a champ for setting up for close to 10 years. Someone had put a new alternator on it but I guess they thought i was a wireless type cause didn't have a wire one connected to it. Wired it up and now it charges great. So far had to put 1 hyd hose on it but I'm sure I'll be replacing more than one just cause they are original hoses and I'm putting her to work. I'm putting a new water temp gauge on it tonight because just like the alternator, no wires to the electric sensor and they all have fell off and rotted off the gauge. I put a mechanical one on it I had in the shop and sure it worked...about 3 years ago... So I bought a new mechanical one and gonna put it on tonight. The used one I had in in the shop would start at about 80 degrees but after running it for about 2 hours non stop it would just go to about maybe.. at the most 110 degrees.. Got any ideal and average running temperature would be ?
