Case 580D Backhoe unit?

I think what I have is a Case 580D backhoe unit that was modified to unload small barges from a dock. Can anyone confirm the model? I cannot find any tags on it. The boom cylinders are missing. I think that the cylinders I need are G106168.

As long as you get 2 matching boom cylinders (for a hoe on a 580) with the right size pin holes, you should be ok. If matching an existing cylinder, you should match rod diameter, cylinder bore, stroke and closed length Center to center of the pin holes.

Whether it is a Case 580 B 580 C or 580 D or 580 E they all use the same cylinder G106168 no problem, Hope this can help. jcmarleau

I found new aftermarket cylinders on ebay and a couple of other sites for around $700 to $800 dollars each. Listed as G106168.
