case 640 Hyd.

A friend has a 640 Case diesel that the 3point works BUT bleeds off,dumping the hyd. fluid into the rear end and eventually leaks out the pto shaft
Is there seals or ?????
any ideas are appreciated !!!

The leak gets covered here about once a week. Do a search and you will find a lot of answers. It is either the three point seals or the pto shaft seal. Start with the three point seal first.

Usually start by replacing the seals on the lift cylinder under the top casting. Do you have a service manual? Go to CNH parts and look up the model.
