So, my owatonna haybine broke down last week, and forced me to get my project swather into field ready shape in just one day. Here we are, a week later, and more then 40 hours put on the little mower with everything still going good. I just bought the swather earlier this year for $600 because the fella couldn"t get it running, new sediment bowl gasket (fuel pump was just pumping air) and fired right up. Extremely happy with the little thing. Any body else have stories about their self propelled"s? thanks, jordan

We sold the predisesor the 650 and the 655's Farmers liked them because they had full width conditioner rolls and would leave the crop in a swath, rather than a windrow. We went on to sell many Hesston SPs. when Case dropped all it's harvesting equipment products. (dumb move in my opinion), but then!

I have one. Right now I am having problems in that the engine is starving for fuel. Put new coil, plugs, and fuel filter in and that improved power but it still shuts off after a few min, so I think it is starved for fuel. Of course it have been so hot and dry in the mid Atlantic that I don't have anything to cut right now anyway.
