Case 770 Hydraulic issue

I hope someone can help me. I was using my 770 baling a couple of weeks ago. I had a chain to come off and I didn't know it. That caused the baler to get plugged and bogged down the tractor. After that happened my hydraulics got very weak. They were already kinda weak because I noticed it at times being slow. After the bogging down episode it wouldn't hardly lift a round bale and would only lift the round baler tailgate about 2 feet or so before the lift would just stop. I replaced the pump with a new one thinking that was the issue. Since I was thinking the pump was weak anyway. Now, the 3 point will lift a round bale but throttle has to be practically wide open. Also, now it will now open the tailgate about half to two thirds. But, not enough to let a bale out. Since it involves the 3 point I am thinking it isn't the Hydraulic remote valve under the fuel tank. Could it be the diverter valve or whatever it is called on the right side of the transmission? The pump made the hydraulics stronger but didn't fix my problem. Fluid and filter are in good shape. This isn't a power shift tractor. Sorry that this is long. Any help would be appreciated.

Your 770 is a dual range dry clutch then ,,. , Your problem could be the screen that i know is in
the bottom of the power shift models ... Mine was nasty filthy in my 1070 ,, yet , everything but the
pto worked , and when it failed it gradually got worse in a matter of a week ,,Other more wiser folks
will tell you to do pressure tests at various points to help determine your trouble ,,. IMHO your
pump is starving for oil ,Perhaps your old pump is still worth keeping on the shelf in a plastic
wrap. the best and perhaps only way to reach the screen is to remove the 3pt and draft control
,drawbar ,then remove the entire rear pto casting. . a cherry piker is most helpful , especially to
reinstall ,,,. perhaps one could get 4 all thread rods 2ft long to guide the casting ,I would
support the heavy casting at all times with a rolling jack , the screen is between the bull gears in
the belly of the tranny. if you just got this tractor , I would bet that is your trouble , If You
have a lot of yrs with this tractor. and have been lacking on filter changes , and your pto has been
replaced ,, those worn particles ended up someplace ,,.and it is a a safe bet they are in the belly
of the beast ,. good luck ,,. Its better to have a pal helping .. That rear block is heavy ! ..

Thank you for your insight. Filters have been changed regularly since I got the tractor in 2015. It is the tractor I use round baling each year. Hydraulics hasn't caused a problem until now. I had no issues until I broke a chain that run one of the augers that help keep the hay fed in the baler. The baler got plugged and come close to bogging down tractor but, I shut the PTO off. After that the remotes was very weak and the 3 point was weak. After replacing the pump the 3 point is stronger and will pick up a round bale but not strong as it should be. Remotes are only slightly better at best. Do you think something might be going on with the PTO control on the right side of the transmission? Since this all started with the PTO bogging down because of the baler getting plugged.
