I have posted a thread a while ago called “Case 770 PS boy this is gonna be a long one” about tranny issues with my 770 so if you want caught up go look for it. Valve body is fully rebuilt and clean and the spools move good. It works a lot better than it did before since the dealer forgot to put the cold oil reliefs back into the filters when they changed them so the oil wasn’t getting filtered and clogging sh1t up.
So basically I need steered in the correct direction
The tractor upon startup works fine in ps 1 and reverse but when you shift up to ps 2 or 3 it will stop/freewheel for about 20-30 second and then it will take of and work in all the powershifts. Except for ps2. I can stall it out with the brakes in reverse ps1 and ps3 but ps2 slips real bad. I can’t find anything online about this issue.
I know everyone it gonna tell me I need to pressure test it but the only case guy anywhere close to here doesn’t mess with powershift transmissions. I don’t have the stuff to do it but I do know that the pto gets a little weaker not very noticeable but the remotes will not work at all in ps2.
That kinda leads me to think that I have an internal leak and the flow divider is pushing all the fluid into the clutches in ps2 and that’s why my remotes don’t work in that powershift.
Just lmk what you think if you wanna make me sound like an idiot be my guest lol. I know how these transmissions work I just don’t really feel like splitting a tractor right now I have plenty other tractors so I’m not in a hurry to get the 770 going. Also is brought to my attention that someone from the last thread called my grandpas landline and left me a number but I honestly lost the number. Iwould have called if I still had the number.
