I need some advice I have a case 770 tractor with a eight speed transmission just recently I was using
the tractor parked it for the night the next day started it up the steering would only turn a small amount
and stop it felt like there was resistance in the hydraulics the brake pedals also seem to be solid there
was no give to them late last fall I was doing some plowing and I noticed the steering wheel you would
have to give it a quick tug it almost locked and then it would release and steering would be fine also the
rear hydraulic plug-in I would have to almost to yank on it to get it to work I figured it was the hydraulic
fluid so the spring I replaced all the fluid with high Tran Any help would be great Lee appreciated

if I were in your shoes I would pay a qualified flow meter technician to do an evaluation of the pump, both the main section and the steering and brake section. At the price of pumps, throwing money at the tractor without being sure is not wise, we could guess pump with reasonable certainly but maybe miss something a good tech would pick up.
