Case 801 B injector pump

Do I have to add oil to my Case 801 injector pump. What type is needed. Also there is a line the runs off the back of the injector pump next to the block. What is this for
 
That is the overflow line.Take filler cap off{on top towards rear of pump,it unscrews]and fill with same oil you use in eng.When it runs out overflow tube its full.Wont take much. Have un! Hoss
