Case 830 Diesel 8 Speed

Our neighbour sold his acreage soooooooo we now own a Case 830 Diesel 8 Speed. This machine has not done any work for the past 20 years and was in his Machine shed. The Engine (less Fuel pump) has less than <200 Hrs. Since a no expense spared overhaul.
A Herford Bull spent some time in the Machine Shed and gave a custom wrinkle to the grill!
This 830 pulled a 10' ALTEEN Disc with four Diamond Harrows in Stubble (freshly Combined Barley) set with a cut that made the 830 SNORT in 4 th gear low range and was able to maintain standard PTO speed on the Tack. I ran it like this for two 8 hr. days and then changes all Filters, Fan belts, and Engine Oil.
I have an Operators manual ordered.
In the interim I would like to know WHAT OIL should be run in the DIFF/Trans/Hyd. system. Also, was there ever an 830 Diesel produced with a SPIN -on- Oil filter?
This tractor runs and operates great!
Thanks for any and all info:

You have got yourself one sharp looking tractor. I use CaseIH HY-Tran in all of my JI Case tractors. I did put a spin-on oil filter on my 730, it came off of a late model wreck. They are out there, and the parts will bolt right on but they are few and far between. Bruce

Just a note but I have a very nice right hand grill screen and I believe a nice left hand one as well if you decide you want to doll it up a little. Email if you have any interest. Thanks

Bruce we were just talking about this on another site,,, can you post a pic of the base you installed? I am thinking it must be one from a 69 930 or 1030 as no 730/830's ever had the spin on unit,, thanks
