case 970 steering leak under dash

started to the hay field with the 970 and have fluid leaking under the dash around the steering shaft below where the column tilts. any clue to what could be the cause?

I had a 1070 that leaked there. There was a flat spot on a power steering o-ring.

rebuilt the steering pump pain in rear taking off and putting on but think i have her ready to bale hay tomorrow

My 970 does that 4-5 times a year, summer or winter doesn't seem to matter.
It will drop a couple of tablespoons by your feet then completley quit for a few months.
Been doing it for 5-6 years.
I think it's been scared to leak more ever since I hauled home a parts tractor.
