Case 970 throttle cable help

Any tips on replacing the hand throttle cable on my 970. I have removed it in the quadrant but the forward end under the floor is another story . I can feel the cotter pin, but the clevis pin is seized and very little access. Is it possible to back off the locknut and just unscrew the old cable? Or do I have to go to the extreme of lifting the cab. Thanks for any thought

on my 1070 I found it alot easier when I removed the front platform mount. game me lots more room to work.

On my 1370 was The same way I got the nut loose and got a tiny vise grip on it little heat and another of cussing I got it to turn came to find out I was fighting the old cable so I cut it from under the cab and spun it off by hand anntiseised the heck out of the the new one. This was 2 years ago roughly.....this year I was baling crp hay and the throttle quit working.....come to find out that seized pin came out I figured it was stuck forever so I didn't bother pilutting the cotter pin back in it haha so it was kinda funny
