Case air cooled engine

Today we got our 4 cyl Case air cooled engine
model #A-125 - Sr# 189PO6960 running. It was mounter on a hay baler during the 50`s and others were used on pull type combines manufactured by the Case co. How many were made? Does anyone know a supplier of gaskets needed for an overhaul? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you and best wishes.

Gaskets were available from Case IH a few years ago (I'm thinking about 7yrs since I overhauled my A-125). Whether they still are, I can't say. Also can not help you on how many were built, but they were fairly common at the time. Used on swathers, balers, combines, tobacco primer and as power plants. Weak spot is bearing on fan....when it fails the entire fan and shroud will twist up like a pretzel. Unfortunately Case designed it so that bearing could not be replaced separately...you had to buy the entire assembly(which is no longer available) Good luck and enjoy.
