Case at Progress

I saw this little VAI at the farm Progress Show last Tuesday. All repainted like new, and shining bright in the sun.

Can you imagine what a Farm Progress Show might have looked like in 1950 ?

Nice Case! A 1950 farm progress show probably had the same reaction for farmers back then like it does now. They thought the equipment was too big and over complicated and overpriced. Who would or could afford such luxeries on equipment? Bill

My dad went to farm shows in the late 1940's and into 1950's At that time the stuff was not that large. He bought a few new pull type combines at those events.They made the deal and he took them home after the show. How times have changed
