Case bucket will it fit

Found bucket off newer case it says Used 12'' Backhoe Bucket for Case 580 K-N/SK-SN. I have a 480 c.

Measure the pin diameters, spacing width and center to center of the two pins or centerlines of the pin bosses on yours, then compare with the same measurements on the one you found. That is the best way to be certain.

1-3/4" big pin 1-1/2" little pin 14" between nice bucket have to call guy.

The five dimensions I would get are:

Big pin, bucket to dipper: 1-3/4" OD
Little pin, dump linkage to bucket: 1-1/2" OD
Width between ears at dipper pin:
Width between ears at dump pin:
Center of dipper pin to center of dump pin (front pin to rear pin):

Your 14", is it between ears on the bucket or pin centers?

10-1/4" big 5-1/4" small place closed at 12 so I couldn't get back to him.3rd tooth is missing but I have a extra Hensley weld on shank.have to dig out
some oaks my 24" bucket takes 2 much dirt out to rip roots.

Did you find a bucket yet? We had a 1970 Case 480 backhoe that dad sold at some point. But still have the 12 inch bucket for it in the shed.This is in Northern Wisconsin

Yes all measurements same except big with is only 10? my boom with is 9-15/16? maybe less I could grind a little off if I had to.shipping to pa would be lots thanks for the input.

No go with bucket.seems like there was a change in style new vrs old.old has offset.new bucket won't close all the way.have a line on some.

Any chance you could take a picture of that bucket in shed.want to make sure I'm on the right track.my buddy has a older 580 ck it's the same.
