Ok guys here is a picture of the tractor that I bought. The former owner thought it was a 1937 C. Tthe number on the block is CC 310420. Does anybody know what I have? I guess it doesn"t matter because I like it just the same. Thanks Cathy

I'm pretty sure you take the first digit and the fourth digit and subract three to get the year.

Not pickin' because it's a nice looking unit... but it may be a montage of parts. Overall you have a CC4. The block number says 1931, but it has a gas intake/exhaust manifolds probably from a DC and a carb from 1934 to 1938. The rear wheels are CC factory rubber from 1934 to 38 as well. The fronts are cast steel from a CC that have been cutoff for rubber rims.

Chances are you really have a 37 CC with a lost tag, that had a motor replaced with an older one and some wheel replacement on one end or the other. The intake could have been replaced as the old distillate intakes were bad about rotting out.

Look at the drawbar it is of the earley type befor the swinging type. In 1932 they put the swinging drawbar on them. The tractor has the drawbar clamped around the axels.
