I bought a Case tractor a few years ago that I believe is a CASE C. The serial number tag is missing. Is there any way to determine what year model it is? Thanks for any help.

Look at the top rear of the engine on the magneto side. The engine serial number is stamped there. If it is the original engine, it is also the tractor serial number

Then use the first and fourth digits in the number and subtract 3. That works for 1929 to 1936 with 6 digit serial numbers. It also works for tractors made in 1937 that may have 7 digits. A new rule came in for 7 digit numbers for 1938 on. It is first two digits minus 2
